I got the boards today.  Plugged the first up and it was the same game and worked great.  Volume is low.  Is there a way to adjust it? There is also a dip switch on the board it was set to accumulate coins not to pay out.  Switched them to match the old board and it pays out like it should.

Can you see where the speaker wires connect to the board? If so then the audio output circuitry might be nearby and there could be a volume control there. Post a photo of the boards and maybe we can see the volume adjust. It might be a small round adjustment pot. Look for writing on the board that possibly identifies it. In all of the photos of the board the bottom board has not been viewable, that could be where the volume adjust is.

Also, for the helpful benefit of anyone else that might have these same boards for their machine please post a photo of the dipswitch and tell us what the switch settings were for putting the wins to credits (accumulating coins) and what the settings are for telling it to payout the wins. Thanks!

From the extra boards that you bought are you able to identify what size the capacitor should be that burned up on the original board?

The dip switch settings are to pay out right now.  To accumulate points and not pay out 1,2,3 were off.  The blown capacitor was a 22 over 16

That makes it a 22uf, 16 volt cap. Are you planning to replace it and see if that fixes the sound for that board?

Thanks for the board photos and dipswitch info, it may help someone down the road and that's what we like to do here. There isn't a lot of written manuals or documentation for this machine from what I can tell.

Does the speaker connect to one of these boards in the photos, or does it connect somewhere else?

The speaker connects through the long connector on the top board.  I hope maybe all this might help if someone else finds one of these machines.  I probably won't replace the capacitor.  That board is still sporadic on the payout.  It works great one day and I get the red scrambled screen the next.  Some of the other blue capacitors are pretty corroded.  I am wondering if some of them are going bad also.  Right now since it is working good now, I am probably going to try and sell it.  I have a Bally and really like it better and maybe would like to find another of those.

ok, glad you got it working better. Did you find the volume control to turn the sound level higher?
