Airplane! How do I get started?

I am new to the forum and new to home slots, so I apologize if this is in the wrong forum or if I come off naive!


So... I am a big fan of the movie Airplane! and I was excited to see that there was a slot machine based on it and a fun one at that. Unfortunately, the game is getting old and the machines are no longer in casinos, on top of that the retired machines are pretty hard to come by and seem to be more expensive than other BB1 machines. So, instead of buying the whole machine, I purchased the Airplane! software. The seller said that the game is a BB2 version, but I never remember seeing it or playing it as a BB2 game. So I was wondering if someone can tell me whether or not it is the BB2 version and if it backwards compatible with BB1 machines since BB2s are still relatively expensive. I'm working on a teacher's salary Also, what will I need to get this up and running, what type of machine and os card?

The game plays on a bb1.5 which is a bb1 cabinet with dual monitors and a bb2 cpu.  So the seller is correct in saying it is a bb2 game since you would need a cpunxt2 mpu.  The dual screen bb1's would work, but you have to buy the bb2 mpu and connect the top vga monitor to the bb2 mpu for this game to work right. The cheapest way to go is to buy a bb1 cabinet and then just use a pc vga monitor for the top, either on top of the cabinet or somehow making it fit in the topbox of the bb1 cabinet.  You would also need to get bb2 cpu.

You do not need the top- monitor for Airplane to work, simply add a BB2 CPU (CPU-NXT2) to your BB1 cabinet (as long as your monitor has DVI connectivity and you are done.. but as always you can play with  top monitor or a in a true BB2 Widescreen.,.. We have 2 Airplane machines with correct top glass in stock (as low as $1500 ea). Airplane and JP Block Party were first 2 crossover themes
