Hello all,

I'm still working through plenty of challenges, but I took some time away from my tech difficulties to play with something a little different and I like how it turned out.  I've attached a copy in case it is of interest for anybody else. 

I had a print shop put the PDF below on a transparency, sanded off the original numbers on my button inserts and was good to go.  Now, I did have some "help" from the kids so my scalpel skills didn't turn out so hot if you zoom in on too much detail.  I plan to return to the project when I have some dedicated time.

Can the transparency be cut with scissors,
that might let the kids make straight cuts easier?

That is an excellent idea for dad, and I guess I should clarify I hadn't provided them the scalpel :-)  My five year olds contribution was to make sure I was focused on requests of "watch this, daddy watch this" and my two month old was providing regular status reports on his satisfaction level of bottle intake vs diaper dryness.  Since all that was way more important than some button inserts, all I can say is my ability to cut straight is what I chose to have suffer.

That explains it. I thought maybe you had older kids using an Exacto hobby knife to help. Those knives have razor-sharp blades that are thin, can sometimes be hard to cut a straight line free-hand.

It looks great, what program did you use to make the legends?

I would like to modify a couple of them.

Thanks!  You should know it well, I think you gave me the Excel file I tweaked up for it :-)  I'll post it on here when I'm back at my laptop and can get to the spreadsheet.

Here is the Excel.  I had to do it as .xls rather than .xlsx so if it poses any problems let me know in pm where to email the other version.
