Bally 5500 Pay Out

Does anyone know what the settings are on a Bally 5500 to make the machine pay in only credits without any coins dropping from the hopper. When I hit the Jack Pot it rings till I turn the key. I want the credits to accumulate. And when I cash out I want it to count down on the credit meter. Thanks

If you increase your credit limit the large jackpot wins will go into credits and not go into jackpot lockup where you have to reset it with a key.
Increase your limit by going into the menu by -
With No credits on machine open the door and push the test button while watching the display and press a few times till 11d appears in "win paid" display stop right here.

27 is the first option. under 27 in the "credit" display will be a option number choice 0001 for option 1, 0002 for option 2 and so on.
now you want to get to option 56 to increase the limit.
Now you will use the buttons on the players deck on the outside of the door, press the "MAX BET" button to go to next option and watching in the "win paid" display for the option number press "max bet" until you get to option 56 and stop.  the "credit" display will show the amount that is currently set to cause a jackpot lockup.
you want to change this amount to a high number like 9,000 to change that amount you press the "spin" button to increase the number, and press the "change" button to decrease if you need to lower the number.
Close the door and it's ready.
I do not know how you can cash out with out coins from hopper.
