Let me start out by saying this site is outstanding!
I bought a Bally 6000 "Wild Money" Machine with a code 88 with no knowledge of what I was getting into, but I thinking it would look great in my basement next to my Golden Tee Complete and Arachnid coin-op dart board.
Thanks to the resources of this site, I ordered ram clear chips, replaced the battery and the machine works perfectly! Success!
I am having issue with the coin drop now.
The first 1-3 coins you put in drop to the hopper, after the first spin the coin diverter shifts and drops the coin out a hole in the bottom of the machine.
The machine is for home use and and I want all the coins to go to the hopper.I read the manuals, and didn't see any options that sounded right to me. I got excited when I first read 59 "Coin Hopper refill" but that is something completely different.
I found this thread in the archived here
http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?action=printpage;topic=25091.0So, I can unplug the diverter and problem solved, but I have a custom cabinet for the machine and if I was still able to still have the diverter shift when the hopper is full I can fashion something to signal me the hopper is full and I need to empty the machine.
I'm assuming/hoping this is an option I am overlooking.
Thanks for the help and what a great site.
As I was typing this is occurred to me, that maybe I could cut the middle man and just have the machine tell me when it ia full directly? I'm just concerned the hopper could overflow and jam itself up or maybe short something out.
Thanks!
