Anyone know anything about John? I have been trying to talk to him for a while. Nicole answers all email. And the website has been down for a few days. I had his private cell number but lost it. Worried about a slot friend.

I placed an order online 2-3 weeks ago. Got my order but actually wanted some other stuff but repeated calls were never answered. Didn't try email. I have had no luck getting on his site for several days now as well. I like to check every few days for new items. I too hope all is well. Has anybody tried to send him a PM? JOHN42355

Hi,
John's had a bout with the flu for about a week or so.  To top it off his server went down and if you try his website now you will see it is all being redone. Unfortunately his phone service is tied in and so that has been acting crazy also.  E-mail is the way to go, but probably won't be 'til next week 'til he is really up to being back to "normal" . I'm pretty sure he'll be raring to go by the end of next week.

This is why I appreciate using a hosting service vs running my own servers.
I also have my own domain name so I can move services around without impacting my clients.
Vonage is a great (cheap)  Voip System. I like it because I can get a phone number in any area code, and I am able to log onto a web site and change my call forwarding. I have one number permanently call forwarded to my cell. If I change cell numbers, or swap simms because I am in Europe or asia I always get my calls.

I am glad to hear some of you have been in touch. Having the FLU at 59 is pretty tough on him. I think he turns 60 in January. Even though we have never met, we have talked like old friends for many years now. Anytime you can't reach an old friend you worry.

No, at 70 I don't work too much anymore, unless the wife tells me to do something !  :no:   :EmoticonHelp4: No, John and I have been good friends for a number of years and we get together once in a while.  Nice guy  and always tries very hard to work with everybody.  We are always kidding each other about something, so we do talk on the phone.  He's had a touch of the flu, but we will try to get together after the holidays.

I remember when you could leave him a voice mail. Now you get press 1 or press 2 etc. but nothing happens. Not sure if email is working. You could try.

Phone and site are tied together, so both are problem right now until new site is completed (a couple more days) and transferred to the new server.  email is the way to go and it is working.

John went to the doctor yesterday, got a shot and is feeling better today.  Expects to be back in the shop on Monday.  Still working on the new server and website, so that, hopefully, will be ready to go on Monday, too.  E-mail is working.
