WTB: Bally Alpha S9000 Ticket out LED board

Hi guys,


Would any of you happen to have a spare Bally Alpha S9000 ticket out LED board assembly like what’s pictured?  If so please send me a price shipped to 83709.

Mine decided to burn out...no longer lights up when a ticket comes out.

Are you sure it's not the printer that is causing the issue?  The board bezel has 2 boards on it, and they are independently lit.  Highly unlikely both died at the same time.  Do you have another gen2 printer (assuming it is a gen2 based on the connector) to try the bezel on?  On my S9000, the ticket printer bezel lights up as soon as it powers up and blinks when a ticket is printed.

Don’t have another gen2 printer, unfortunately.  I’ve got a Blazing Sevens Quickhit game in it right now.  Went to diagnostics to see if there was a function to light it up, but I didn’t see anything.  Doesn’t light up booting up or when printing a ticket.  Prints fine though.

Use a meter and see if there's voltage going into the light boards.  If there's no power, then the printer is the issue.

Measured the socket where the bezel plugs into.  Two pins in the connector.  Left ground and right is 24v.  Getting 23.9v at the connector.  Plugged the bezel back in and took a reading from the 24v solder point on each of the LED boards.  23.9v there as well. 


Gotta be a bad bezel right?  Both pcbs are getting power, but no activity.

Yep, it's the bezel then. I may have some of the pcb boards with the leds from a machine I junked.  I'll go through may parts and hopefully find them.
