GK .044 board error "Door Open M"

Have an 044 board that's showing a "Door Open M" error. It has something to do with the board, not the machine. The board fired up with a game installed, but showed this error so it would not function. When a known good board was installed, there was no error showing, thus eliminating machine optics, switches, etc. The board also shows some corrosion . Could the corrosion be causing the error? Whats the best method to remove the corrosion and by doing so could it possibly clear up the error problem? I have another board with no corrosion (missing chips and an aluminum capacitor) that I am planning on transferring parts to and see if that will work. The 2nd board is in unknown working condition. I'd like to thank Barry(777sizzler) again for gifting me the 1st board, giving me a fighting chance at coming up with at least one good board out of the two, much appreciated.  If nothing works, is there anybody here on NLG that does board repair or could check the board out? Also does anybody have or know where to get that missing capacitor: aluminum capacitor 470  EFC. 7J3, Digikey has one that's "close", but $14 shipping for a $.56 part is a little out there? digikey  has the most fair shipping of anyone we buy rams from cd jukes on them shipping is under 2 bucks , plus parts are cheapest we found either way good luck with your board , the open door thing can be a pain

There is a black plug on the 044 backplane. dead center inside the logic. it is a jumper for the main door. make sure you have your jumper installed.

lol sorry thats for the logic door the main door is controlled through the backplane. Easiest to check continuity from backplane to belly door switch and then from there to main door. and back to backplane. that is assuming you use switches and not optics.

Thanks for the input, appreciate it and valid points to check.......... had this been a machine that has had problems.  However, the problem is coming from the 044 board itself. The machine works as normal, put in a known good board, no error message. Put my board in, error. Just needing some direction/troubleshooting towards a board problem . Thanks.
