Aruze Reels Slots / Re: Bill validator Jam
« Last post by LifeTilt on Today at 08:50:51 PM »
That is the stacker encoder. We can try a couple things.

1. Check there are no bills in the BV
2. Remove the cashbox and check there are no crumpled bills inside.
3. Remove all bills from the cashbox.

I would suggest you remove the BV from the game and remove its covers...use some canned air to blow out any dust and fluff from inside.

[Pre-warn] be gentle with the blue clip at the front of the BV. We are most concerned with the right side ( don't worry about the top panel )

You have a Bally S5500. When you plug it in, what does it show in the display? Can you post a picture of it plugged in showing the info in the display?

Going to this link I've attached for you below, will give you an idea what SP chips your 16Mhz board can use...>>>

https://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=303.0

SP1272 was a popular choice among members here, for a 16Mhz... it needs uses a SET88 though - for enabling the DBV.

I'd contact member RB, for chips.
