JCM WBA 12S/13S-SH - will that work for my S2000?

I'm trying to search here but getting (again) a "High Stress" on the server message...
Will a JCM WBA 12S/13S-SH work for an IGT S2000? The only thing I can find is something about horizontal stacking and vertical stacking. Would that make the head any different than the "SS" version of a WBA 12 or 13?

I think Jim from BettorSlots said in another thread that the "SH" JCM model bill acceptor assemblies are for Bally & Williams machines.

I will say cautionarily (is that a word?) this-
Keep in mind that the "head" is merely the front end part of the bill acceptor, where you insert the bill. Connected to it is the bill transport part, and that is what varies with different model suffixes, such as "SH". So if you are asking if you can remove a WBA head and replace it with another WBA head then yes you can. But the software in the head may be for a different slot manufacturer, they don't all use the same communication methods/protocols to talk to the machine cpu. That software can be changed as needed.

I'm still figuring out some things about bill acceptors. Others here can help clarify and probably better answer this, let's see what they say.

The "SS" stacks down, the "SH" stacks up.  On the SS the cash can is below the head, on the sh is on top, so an SH will not work on an S-2000.

Thanks rickhunter and rokgpsman! That makes sense now.
Coorslight - I did end up ordering 2 complete units on ebay but, they're "untested from a know working environment."
I hope they work (they were 15 bucks each... seller accepted my low-ball offer!)  - but if you have any complete units, send me a PM. I may want one or two more just for my small inventory.
