very tight cash can on wba 12
« on: May 18, 2015, 06:19:22 PM »
Hey all!
I just picked up an s-2000 at an auction and everything works, but the cash can is so tight going in and out that I am afraid I am going to break something by jamming it in and pulling so hard to get it out. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks!!!
By the way, it is a 16" 3 reel red white and blue "sevens and stars" 3 coin max game.

Just my thoughts,
When you remove the Cash Can, you may want to take a bright flashlight and look above at the black plastic that the top of the cash can goes up against.
If you see a crack it may or may not be the problem.
Is the can straight or out of shape?
only my thoughts.

You are more than likely NOT going to break anything. The cash cans need to fit snug, or they won't align with the bill validator overhead...if they start to NOT align. Them things get up and you start getting errors. Remember, here things were not designed to have cash cans pulled every 20-30 minutes, like we so often do at home. Casinos onl pull the cans 2-3 times a day.
