Wba 11 won't read bill

i have a transport that will pull the bill in, pause then kick it back out.  I have swapped the chip and head with a working unit, so I'm almost sure it must be transport.  Any ideas on what could be causing this.  I would like to get working so I have a spare one.  Thanks

Tried it with no credits in machine.  It is like the unit reads it but not communicating with slot.

Have you checked the bill path for blockage, like another bill or something stuck in there? Also on some machines I think it won't accept any more bills if the credits already on the machine are near the hopper limit. Have you tried different bills, including a $1 ?

What bill are you trying, I don't think the wba11's will take all the colored US bills.

I pulled out the manual and can not figure out how to get the the 7<5> menu.  I can get the 7 in the coins played by pressing the test button, but it will only allow me to change the hopper pay out.  :banghead:

Sometimes you have to turn the reset key to advance through certain menus. Just a thought.
