Seems there's lots of excitement about IPC Controllers lately. For all you folks all excited to get your hands on an IPC, let me educate the ones that are new.


IPC's require special computer software, Game Table files, Boot Files, Flash files and Game files. You also need a CLEAR file and EPROM. If the battery(s) die, it will loose/corrupt the database. If you find an IPC that prompts "Waiting For Download..." it has NO database in it and MUST be flashed (it's a boat anchor without the Flash). IPC's can NOT be programmed "by-Hand", even though they have a keyboard. So please be aware of these requirements BEFORE you spend your money on one. Now on to the one I'm offering....

This is a fully WORKING Family Guy Kit. You get:

Family Guy requires a 3.0 box with 14B boots, lower MLD monitor and Dynamic panel. Basically if you have a factory cabinet with a 32" top box, you're probably good to go.

Sooooo, If the battery dies I spent 2500 on a boat anchor?  Or is that including all the files/Programs to reinstate it?

Just like all your Slot MPU’s. Don’t let the batteries die. Pretty Simple.


Batteries are for temporary power failure back-up, not to keep memory while you don’t power up your game for 6 months. Thus my comment “offer these to the public”. If you only power up your game once every couple of months, you probably don’t want to invest in an IPC.

just like a Slot MPU battery, they’ll last quite awhile with the power off. But none of us have a crystal ball to guarantee how long.

Do that here in Michigan and you'd be broke.  I really hate my power company.  We have the distinct honor of having the highest electric rates in the Midwest.  Now back to your regularly scheduled program....
