i just got chipset for enchanted unicorn and when installing i get mozaic screen when cg chip is installed.yet without it i get error screen showing it needs replaced.any help out there?

The CGF, PXL, and Sound are simms not chips.  9 times out of 10 when you see a mozaic screen the problem is with a eprom and not a simm.  Make sure you have the game chips installed in the right socket, also make sure there are no bent legs on the game and base chips.

sorry for wrong terminology.new to this.cgf simm installed under soundboard intead of j6,j7,or j8.game up and running.yet no sound.pfxl simm in j6 and snd simm in j8.

This is a easy fix, remove the sound simm from J 8 amd install it on the MM II sound board socket J 2
 
Check the dip switches  on DSS00134 sound simm  All MUST be OFF

Sorry  I must have been thinking about something else, really foolish of me to think that a sound simm would install on a sound board.

There are 2 types of sound boards (Multi Media Lite Boards). You have the Eprom style MML Board, and that won't work in your situation. They work for games that have eproms which contain the sound.


You need the MML2, like the one shown in the 2nd pic. They accommodate the sound SIMM cards. We have some on our website if you need one.

have determined that i need other version of mmlsb.
thanks for posting pix.main goal is to have same multigame i see locally in casino and small est.[5 machine multi-game game king.]
i know there has to be someplace i can get so i don't have to invest in multiple boards
if anybody knows of chipsets that have the following games in a set let me know.

Any manuals, etc will be based on the platform and NOT the particular game you are running, I.e. S2000, I-Game, Etc. You may find a PSR for the SB your Enchanted Unicorn runs on, but it won't give you much info. The NLG File System is located at the top right of the Home page, but you need to be a Contributing Member to access it. A small donation will get you there!
