Bally e-series issues with MPU card AS-2978-3

Are we sure were on the right page.
This is a e1000 board even though it says e2000 on the label.
Have you cleaned the pins on the riser board ( where the battery is connected.
The pins between the two boards get oxidation and cause all kinds of weird glitches.

Protect.. I asked him this same basic thing in reply 10.. I know how those edge connectors rot away. You really need to inspect them. I have seen early E2000 machines with E1000 MOU Boards.

yes I have already inspected its connectors without any apparent problem during your query
I also tested its connectors to the multimeter and it works normally

I cleaned the connectors again and changed the card AS-2979-1 and the machine works.
I have only one problem the hooper disk is too small for my coins I have to find 1 of 140 mm instead of the one of 110 mm
I am also looking for a new AS-2979-1 card

Your Ram board are extremely rare and hard to find.. Have you tried swapping out the 5101 ram chips on the board with the other working board.. They go bad and can still be purchased. Now for the coin wheel that should be easier to find.. I just measured a quarter wheel and it measures around 135mm. Maybe a nickel would be closer to what you need, but I currently don't have one to measure..

We have the shelf wheel and about 40 RAM boards.I got your PM and will dig out the parts Thursday.The RAM board will have new connectors installed and a fresh battery and be tested and verified on our E-Series tester.
