Can't get past -0- on Summit Slot Machine
« on: September 04, 2023, 09:58:11 AM »
Hello, I picked up a Summit slot machine and the coin payout kept gettting jammed but now it is reading -0- on the tilt bar.  Per HMS document below I pressed the hopper reset button, but it will not get past it.

Please help!  Pics and reference links below - Thank you!

There has to be multiple ROM revisions with different meanings and error codes because on my machine a -0- clears as soon as you coin up and pull the handle. It's not a tilt so much as an operator warning.

I *think* the coin-out counter interfaces through pin 6 of the ILQ4 optocoupler on the CPU board. If that goes bad and an ILQ4 isn't available I have stolen the ILQ2 from an IGT NetPlex Microtouch controller.
