Pays out in coins. Want to change to CREDITS.

Have S+ Red. White & Blue.  Wins pay out in coins.  Putting money in the bill acceptor also pays out in coins, not credits.  I have gone into test and set Player Initiated Credit to 5-1.  Also have hopper pay out set to 300. The cash out button stays lit and is not allowing change to credit during play.  What seems to be the solution?

Set it to 5-2 or turn on cashout button before winning.

5-2 isn't an option.  I can only choose 5-0 or 5-1.  Am I doing something wrong?

Try 5_0, 8_1  This should send all wins and bills inserted to credit meter.

So I don't know what's going on!  I went to try 5-0 and I was able to enter 5-2.  I thought before I couldn't enter that.  Anyway, I entered 5-2 and now bills and wins go to credits, BUT the cash out button doesn't pay out coins.  It does nothing.  Help?

Check for a loose or unplugged wire going to cash-credit button.  Could be a bad switch.

I don't see any loose wires.  The switch is good.  Maybe a wiring problem to the motherboard?  Or a problem on the board?

Did you try 5_0, 8_1

    Advance through the setup sub-menu
    You should see "5  n" in the window, where n= 0 to 2. Press the spin button until it reads "5  0"

  This will make all wins automatically go to the credit meter. You will not have to turn on the credit button before playing.

   
    You should see "8  n" in the window, where n= 0 to 2. Press the spin button until it reads "8  1"

  This will force all bills inserted to go to the credit meter. You will never accidentally end up cashing out your bill.

When I have 5  0 then all wins pay out in coin, not to credits. 
When I have 5  1 or 5  2, then all wins go to credits, and the cash out button doesn't do anything....doesn't redeem the credits to coin.

I don't see a 8  n  option as I go through the menu.

When you get to 5_n then turn J/P key 3 times.  It still sounds like the switch is not working.  Did you do a test on that switch?  Input test 22

Thank you for all the help.  Issue resolved.  Testing 22-1 the "cash" button/switch showed it was bad, but the actual switch tested good.  Buzzed the wire to the motherboard and found a bad trace.  Fixed that and now the switch works, as does the cash/credit select option.
