The little board where the input plugs for the monitor is the A/D board.  Basically it converts the VGA signal (which is analog) to a digital signal so it can be displayed on the digital screen (which is essentially any lcd/oled panel).  The fact that as it warms up, the signal becomes steady usually points to bad caps.

Bally Reel Games / Bally Eserie 1113

Hello,

I recently bought an Eserie 1113-18 from 1981 which is in rather good condition but obviously it doesn’t work.

My first problem is that many wires are disconnected on J3 (wire code 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 53 and 54) and J4 (21, 23 and 25)
Does anyone have this machine and can provide me with a nice photo of these connectors or wire locations?

I also have an 80 wire on the relay board M645-606 which is disconnected.
Thank you for your help

Hi again. Ordered new microswitches, but I'm still encountering this problem. Here's a link to a video of me playing my machine and focusing on the Bet One Credit button. As you can see, this is a constant issue and I can't figure out how to resolve it. Sometimes, back to back presses work fine, no problem. But so much of the time is this constant pressing until it finally registers.

I need any help I can get on this. I'm just puzzled. Thanks everyone.

IGT AVP (Including G20,G23) / Re: First impressions owning a G20

That Curve must have cost a fortune to have shipped to Alaska? Do you mind if I ask where you purchased the machine from? Those run $6-$7K, don't they? And I imagine those are Fam20 games?

Looking for another affordable slot machine I can tinker with. Appears most machine are single game or not as easily expandable as the IGT AVP systems.

Consider a IGT Crystal with AVP 4.0 and family 20 games. I have a G23 I like it. I also have a Crystal Dual 23 and I like it too. Both machines use the ekey which is nice. They do use  different diag's but thats not a big deal. You can have a BUNCH of games installed at once on either machine.

Thanks, I saw those. I'd rather get it from someone here.

The caps on your A/D board might be going bad.  Recapping the A/D board often solves flickering and the no-input problem.

I'm still learning the Bally S9000 machines, which one is it and where's it located?  On teh back of the LCD would be my assumption but I have been burned by that before... lol
