WOW! Finally, some really useful information. Thank YOU!
Now......would you by chance have have a 9717 or 9716 SMI chip????
I also need the U3 chip for the BONUS sound board for this machine.

I think it has more to do with the bill validator harness and its connections.
Only when the BV is ready to accept bills, will it send a signal, or route power to light up the bezel.

I'd try this...>>> With the power OFF, un-plug and re-plug the BV harness, both at the BV, and at the backplane header.
Maybe it's just a bad pin connection?

Omg...I just went go see that old link...We used to have so much fun joking around playing with slots and accessories.... lol
Ron called me a loser and I threw a pie in his face....haha.... I'm going to catch up with him one day!

I actually still have a couple of these denom stickers still brand new wrapped in plastic.
But since they're so old, I don't even know if they will still light up.

Let us know if you can get yours to light up.
You can peel that sticker off with a putty scraper.

Bally Electromechanical / Re: Bally Classic Slot

Your machine is most likely a model K-100-1149 or K-100-1150 which is a single line 3-coin Dollar wide reel that pays L-R & R-L and you’re right, there is next to nothing available on these machines. They were built with Games of Nevada and the project ended before it ever took off. No one liked them. Did you get this one in ND by chance? The Bally strut part # was M-1876, but that’s not going to help you. I bought some replacement struts several years ago and had to use the collapsed and extended lengths to find the correct strut. The measurements are taken from center to center of each eyelet. Be sure to also record that measurement in mm. The struts are rated at 50 nanometer, which is very important to know. 25n is too weak and 100n is too strong. I may have a schematic for yours. I do have the manual which describes the machines game flow from coin-in to end of game. This is the only thing you’ll find, other than a schematic, to help you troubleshoot.

Check fuses F4, F5 and F6 on the main power supply.

Can you post a photo of the hopper jam light?

I I left the machine turned on during a hole day. Then I re did the procedure. Push on the all clear switch on the main bard (The litlle black button down the board) I turned on the power and maintained the clear switch on during at least 5 seconds. The 12 on the the paid meter disappeared. I replace the hopper and pressed once the yellow button closes and locked the door. Nothing occured. the "hopper jan " sign is still lit. I turned off the machine and then on again without any success. When turning on the power the candles are turned off as you can see on the picture aud I can't hear any sound and no "clac" relay soud.

SOLVED: I keyed both of my S2000's... enabled 7.2.3.3 Change Voucher... and that worked. Thank you, RB!

7.2.3.3 Change Voucher: Determines if the game accepts vouchers that are not divisible by the accounting denomination. If this option is enabled and the voucher is not divisible by the accounting denomination, the amount in accounting units (AUTs) is directed to the credit meter, and a voucher is printed for the fractional amount. If this option is disabled, the game rejects any voucher with an amount that is not in whole AUTs.
