BB1 - Griffins Gate Won't Load

Hi all,

I've made a mistake in my last BB1 purchase.  Now I need some help figuring out if I can fix it :-)

My BB1 does not have the EBB button and from what I've seen in other posts Griffin's Gate expects it.  Before coming to this realization I tried to load it up and everything went pretty well until after configuration when it was trying to load the game it stalls out at 14% then the screen goes black and Nothing else happens.

Does anyone know if this is typical behavior for loading a game that needs the EBB on a machine without one?

I'm nervous because it also has a splash screen that mentions "Wage-Net Wide Area Game Enhanced Network" and I'm concerned I may have picked up a WAP game. 

If it's a matter of waiting until I can get an EBB panel, I'm planning to do that at some point anyway, so it's not a big thing.  If the game is WAP and never to be, then it changes the priority level of finding the new button panel.

That's the correct version same as mine and will work when you get the eeb panel.

Thank you!  That is good news.  I picked up a dongle game from the same vendor and haven't had time to load it on my BB2.  If this one was WAP, it probably would have meant the same on the dongle and it was a substantially larger investment :-)

Hi all, I got my extra bet button, but no change.  Since the possible problem on my BB2 was the RAM I checked this one and it has 256 rather than 512.  I saw an older post mentioning that you can use laptop ram.  Can anyone come confirm the link below is what I need?

512 RAM is doing the trick.  All is working great.
