I don't see that the door optics are bypassed and can clearly see where the optic on the cabinet is missing. Right next to the big white cherry switch, you will see two screw holes with no optic. The door has it's optic mounted. Check behind the white switch for the 2 wire plug for cabinet optics. Until the machine see's the door as closed it will not boot. If they are not bypassed and that optic is missing then the guy before you was not playing it before you got it.

Hi.. thanks... I actually started a new post specific to this problem I'm having as my original.post and problem is now different (in hindsight I shouldn't have started the other post ,but am new to these types of forums)

Door open MB errors are often caused by the varta battery leaking and damaging circuit traces. Has the battery been removed on your MPU? Any signs of acid damage?

I agree with TILT. This problem is always, 1. Machine not seeing door closed from bad optics or bad bypass. 2. Bad MPU from acid damage at Varta battery eating traces. I see you replaced the MPU, hopefully you got it from someone honest and tested it before selling it. There are some on EBay that sell damaged as good. What you are describing is definitely a break in the optic trace, either by cash can not seated all the way, cash can door not making proper connection, belly door switch not making proper connection, or cherry switch bad. My money is more on a bad replacement MPU

Thanks guys!! I got the mpu board from a trusted person on the forum here.. varga was removed and all looks good.. I've been getting quite a bit of help from Amechanic and others and it appears to be something from the bypass from the optics or something along those lines..I've tried following those wires and don't see any obvious issues. The former optics for the door seem to be hooked up where they should be in the back of the white pushbutton door switch.. when the white button is pushed it does change the errors so I'm thinking it's working? But I have no wires that go to the belly door switch and can't find any that look like they would go there.. does anyone have a picture of the wires on the back of the belly door switch? I'll keep trying to follow these wires

I was just looking at your picture of the door switch wiring. It looks like the red wires connector is making contact with the in-used pronged of the switch🧐.. Itâ€™s the only crimp connector the does not have a plastic Insulator on it. If it is contacting that middle pronge of the door switch that might make you game act up.

Ya that red wire connector in the switch does look like it could be touching. Unfortunately I'm at work but will check that when I get home!
The belly switch plug with the bypass in your picture looks like the empty plug I have hanging next to mine.. I don't have a bypass plug... Can I just cut those wires and connect them together?

Looks like if you pull the red wire off and turn the connector around it should not touch.

Yes you can just cut and connect the green wires on the belly door plug. Note what you may have hanging down is the plug end from the switch you would want to connect the wires from the other end of the plug which may already be done.

Your right... I didn't think of that... If it is and I connect them together will that cause an issue? I wish I could find the otjer end so I could tell for sure.

Take the flat multi colored ribbon cable loose of your door display, then remove the 3 Phillips screws holding the inside door panel in place. This will give you enough room to get in there to check your belly glass switchâ€™s wiring.
