I had been playing my game...all the credits were used and I went into the cash box for more money. When I closed the Main Door...I get these three error messages...Call Attendant....Closure M...and Door Open B...I have gone in and re-closed the cash box....main door../changed the battery...but I still cannot get back to the game....Any help is greatly appreciated...Thanks...John0813

Make sure the cash can is all the way in. Close the door and make sure the lever is all the way down then lift the lever up then down again. Do this a couple times. Each time the lever is lifted up and down it clears an error. That may be the problem.

If there is a switch on your cash can door, bypass the switch. Remove the wires from the switch and tie them together.

A picture of your board would be helpful. Especially the area where the green varta battery is or was.

I see some green on the second resistor to the right of the Varta. Could be the problem. Did you check the switches on the cash box door? Did you remove and replace the cash box to be sure it is seated. Are you sure your latch is going all the way down for the door optics to see as closed? As for that VARTA battery, remove it before it causes problems unless it already has. It is the #1 killer of home use machines. It was used by the Casino's as a tattle tale to send a code if the door was opened.

1st thing you need to do is remove the green varta battery. Do not replace it, you don't need it for home use. You can see that there is some leakage started by D4. When that battery leaks sometimes it will ruin the traces under the board giving you the open door message.

Progress Report....

I have removed the green battery...cleaned around the board where it was located....replaced the bill validator and cash box from another IGT S2000 machine.....twisted together the 2 wires in the cash box door and restarted the machine.

The reels spin, the bill validator cycles, the 1 credit equals .25 appears....the message then reads....
Call Attendant and then Door Open B.

Any help on what my next step should be???

Check your switch on the belly door. You can also bypass it.

Did you clean the board underneath where the Varta battery was?

Update....

I cleaned around the removed green battery on both sides of the board...the belly switch seems to be fine...When I restart the machine....the reels spin..and after the credit information...it reflects...insert 3 coins for about 2 seconds...then immediately the error messages read: Call Attendant and Door Open B.

Any other ideas???

What is the voltage and what type of battery set up is that where the coin battery used to be?

bypass the belly door switch, its not needed for home use and creates a lot of intermittent problems. then go to the processor test menu, call up test 13, its the door optic loop test, if any of the security switches are not making or bypassed this test will show a zero, instead of a flashing 0 to 1 etc.

Update:

The battery is 3.4 volts.

I tried a known board...still getting the same error messages....

Cleared the board...reset the options...now my errors read the following:

Call Attendant....Select WAMM or IPC...Door Open B...

Also...on the display....there is a period/dot in the Credit Box and a 0. in the Credit Played Box.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think you have to keychip to set to wamm.

Door open B is bill val door open.

The dot will go away after you play a game after a open door.
