I prefer 17". I don't care for that huge monitor bezel on 19" cabs.

Both are good cabinets...

The 17 inch is a little sexy machine and glass seems to be easier to find. I also like the BIGGER screen in the 19 inch.

More important is the cosmetics of the cabinets. Shy away from beat up, wore out, chrome missing, scratched, damaged, get what I'm saying? My 17 looks like it came from a biker bar and I rarely play it, I don't like to look at it.

I prefer the 044 platform to the 3902...

I'd stay away from the CRT monitor and choose a LCD screen...

The 19" might be a wider cabinet by what, 2 or 3 inches. The height is close on either. You will not be disappointed with either.
