Tito Stalling Issue: G23

I have read a few posts about issues with the G23 stalling when you click cash out and reverts to handpay. Like most people it sometimes works and sometimes doesnt.


I can see people believe its issues with the power becoming idle to the tito thus causing the issue, but no one has pointed out a solution


Has anyone had success with fixing this issue as it is annoying.

I have tried the following:


Moved the TITO outside of the machine and supplied an external power source.


I have tried multiple TITO boards/multiple cables.


I have tried different daughter cards on a G-20 and SMLD.



I have tried using the different comm ports.


I also tried installing different versions of OS but no luck.

I still have the same issues, I guess I will need to dig a little deeper.


It goes to a hand pay about 20% of the time and it seems very random.  After a hand pay you can immediately hit the button for free credit play and get credits, you can also cash out and it works, all without having to reset anything.

I have the same issue, all 4 G23 machines I have worked on did it, as well as 6 G20’s.  The behavior is exactly as described above.  I have not been able to fix it.

Has anyone had any luck getting the Better Titos to work consistenly on the G23s - ive done most of these things and it resorts to handpay 50% of the time. So annoying.

Usb or serial printer? Does it accept tickets 100% or 50%?
