Strange hanging and stalling while loading

Question for the group:

Bb2e- having some loading issues. When loading Castle King OS, it will go all the way to where the game manager should come up to complete the installation. The screen gives the normal quick grey box with the x in the middle, then blank both top and bottom. Won’t load. I was successful once by trying a power cycle, but shouldn’t need to do that anyway.

OS H13HF- will go all the way to game manager, setup game. Close door and hangs at 0% loading bar. This one is more intermittent, happening only a couple times.

I’m running the static deck if that makes a difference, never had any issues with the games I’m loading.

One variable (I’ll admit I need to diagnose but haven’t had the time): when the main power is turned on, it seems as tho there’s a lag to power up the screens. Usually see the American megatrends  screen for at least a few seconds on past Bb2 machines I’ve had- this one only a blip. Thinking the caps in the power supply might be going bad. I also need to verify the output voltages yet.

But I guess my question is- could these loading issues be related to the ps? Or should I be looking more at a cpu or ram issue?

Update-

I put my OLED back in last night, swapped power supplies with my bb3, changed ram... all with the same result on castle king. Then tried loading Moolah up with no issues.

I’ve cycled thru a bunch of bb2s to date- I get one and someone offers to buy it, so I sell and get another. Every one I’ve had loads at different speeds. Some seem to be more sensitive to certain things than others. This machine seems to generally load slow. On any game. But the 512 clear takes a blink.   I think I’m at the point of testing a different SSD, although I don’t think that it has anything to do with this issue.

One other thing I’ll do is disconnect my fooler board. When my castle king was working, I don’t think I had one installed.
