Have you ever seen one of these? S plus JACKPOT DEVIL
« on: December 28, 2023, 02:36:05 PM »
I just picked up an IGT Jackpot Devil S+ machine. It's out of Binions Casino in Las Vegas.
I can't find another one, glass and reel tapes.
Just curious if anyone's ever seen one of these?
Could it have been a test machine or a machine that just didn't do well? Reason is that it says on the 4th reel that the devil takes all wins! Maybe people just didn't like that.

All 4 reel S+ machines are extremely rare.

Jerry,

I believe these are the SS (REEL) chips that are for that game:

--SS3364 4R 3CM TYPE 0 111A252 95.011
--SS3365 4R 3CM TYPE 0 111A252 92.357
--SS3366 4R 3CM TYPE 0 111A252 90.086
--SS3367 4R 3CM TYPE 0 111A252 87.624
--SS3368 4R 3CM TYPE 0 111A252 85.180

Based on the image you posted on Facebook, I believe you have SS3366 in your machine.

I was able to update the IGT bible a little bit and thanks to your pictures was able to add visuals to it for your machine:

Sorry to sound dumb. I'm brand new to all this. Does the reel chip change the payout?
Thanks for the reply!!

We all started somewhere -- don't worry about asking questions!

Yes, the REEL (SS) chip is what ultimately determines the payback percentage over the long-term of the machine.

If you look at the list of options for your game, you'll see that the SS3366 (if that is indeed what you have) is right in the middle of the pack, with a long term payback of 90.086% (calculated over millions of spins).
