Pinball error E 0.6

Just started on this Pinball, have a  P 0.6 error. anyone know what it is? could that be why its not connecting to the bottom (64 error)?
  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The PO6 is normal, the 64 is the problem. It is a communication error. Start at the top box where it slides into the plug. Check to make sure the pins haven't moved. You may have to give it a good push to get it plugged in good. Start there.

You might check the cmos battery in the MPU module while you're digging around in the top box also

Thank you for the suggestions. Replaced the batt on the mpu4 board. just reseated the top box, the 06 code went away, an 01 code appeared while the bottom loaded. Once the bottom finished  the 01 went away. No codes on the top, just the 64 comm error on the bottom now. What should my next step be?
