Ok. I took all the game software out, cards, chips, etc..and put in key 22. Same result.  Went right too confetti screen. I believe I'm dealing with a bad mpu. Also, after checking again, my coin in is definitely bypassed. (See attached pics). I don't think the game chips are bad since I can eventually boot up to the game, and play around in the menu section..so no issue there..but I am starting to lean towards a bad MPU

The last picture is another 3902 board. Not mine. Saw it on flea bay for $100. Not a big fan of the selling site, but if it works..?

The coin in jam error could also be caused by an I/O card.  Have you tried reseating them or swapping them out with ones from your working machine?

If you are going to get another MPU contact Jim (Midwest slots) here on NLG.  You're still going to need a working Keychip too.

Yeah..tried the I/O card swap. I took my known good ones out of Coyote Moon,  put them in lobster...no go. Put lobsters in Coyote Moon,  and no issues. I'll order another 22, but I honestly don't think that's going to help. I have currently 3 40s, and 3 22s. All the same result. .but I'll give it a try.

Ok.  Usually, but not always, when the MPU is the problem the Coin-in Jam error will be accompanied with a Meters disconnected error too.

I know you don't believe they could all be bad, but that's what it looks like.  I'm so confident they are I'm willing to send you one at no charge.  PM me an address if you want to take me up on it.

Well, Tilt called it. True to his word, he sent me a key 22, and it worked first try. All my chips are bad. Not sure how or why, and a couple I never even used. So...that solved that problem. If you think your keys are good, you may need a new locksmith.

Problem #2. Coin in error still didn't clear. I actually ordered a backup 3902, and used it, but the error remained. On Tilts suggestion, I swapped out the door I/O with a known good spare I had, and the game booted up..error free. (I believe my wife is still playing it).  :thank_you: :thank_you: :thank_you: :hail:

Appreciate all the help I received here  :hail:
