Removing a Bluebird MPU

Hey guys,

I was told that the MPU is easy to remove.  Well, I must be missing something.  I found the black rubber coated lever on the right side, and when I push down, it looks like it tries to lift it up, but it doesn't go very far.  Almost as if something is holding it down.  The reason that I am doing this, is because I have another jurisdiction chip coming and I need to change it out. 

Any help or pictures would be appreciated.

You need to lift UP on the lever.
It will pop up a bit, then it should lift off.
You may have to wiggle it back & forth a bit as you lift.

Also if you have the door closed it won't remove. Be sure if your MPU has a door that its always open. Instructions also say to remove the door before removing the MPu

Mine doesn't even have a door.  The board is always exposed.  I also pulled the MPU fan off and washed the nicotine off.  Switched directions so that the air would blow towards the processor.
