I had a customer call me today and said while he was reinstalling his main board that one of his ram chips popped off the main board and broke 3 of the legs off...the chips are marked "advanced 4414-632"...
Does anyone know where I can locate a pair of these or just one if they can be intermixed...I can't find them anywhere on Google or eBay... These don't look like normal ram chips, more like a PCB with a flash chip embedded in it...

Man, I hate it when that happens.  Must have been one of those suicidal RAM chips that just leaped out and broke three legs off.  Yep, I believe that story.  :24:

Lol...I know, I laughed under my breath when he told me the story
He told me that he was mounting the board back onto the tray and while he was putting one of the screws back in it just popped off...

I have to remove those chips when I clean boards or they often end up on the bottom of the ultrasonic cleaning tank basket. lol...  Pins are pretty strong tho!

The pins do look fairly strong...not sure what he did to break them off...
