IGT S+ 5 Line Gold Mountain Wrong Chips ?

Hi ,


I bought an 5 Line Gold Mountain. After some work on it the machine returned back to live....


But looks like the wrong chips are mounted on the board...


You can only play 3 Lines, wrong payout...after winnings the wheels turn again and pay again...


On the MB Reelprom 0665 and Gameprom 4412 are mounted. According the Bible this is wrong....


Which combinations can I use... is Haywire possible on that machine or any other options...


Any suggestions or support highly appreciated

Hi,


You can get any theme you want for the machine. IF your machine is currently 3 coins, 1 line, it can become 5 coins 5 lines just by changing the chips.
You will want to change your glass and reel strips to match of course ... but your machine can be any of those in the game bible.
I have about 60 different game kits for my platforms(s).


First pick your reel chip (theme) and consult the PAR sheet (Paytable and Reel) - it will determine what "TYPE" of game chip is needed to support the reel chip.
There different TYPEs of games - Type 0 (no special features) is the most common but Type 2 games (nudge) like double diamond deluxe that nudges up or down based on the diamond pointer.
There are Haywire, Buy a Pay, Respin features as well as other Types. You only need to change the game chip if you need one with a unique feature set.


With regards to what is in there now... you can pull the MPU board and hope that there are stickers on your chips but you can also follow the instructions in Ricks FAQs (bottom right of the home page) and you can display your reel and game chip numbers in the winner Paid / Credit meters.

Your labels are on the wrong chips for one thing.
If you can give me the numbers of your strips and post a photo of your award glass, then I can tell you what reel chip you need.

You MAY have either the wrong strips as well, or the wrong glass.

SS4412 is for Triple Play, Scoreboard or Satellite.

They are 5 line games but for different reel strips.

SS4414 for the 2 coin, one line gold mountain.

You have choices ...>>> SS3819...97%/ SS3820...94%/ SS3821...92%/ SS3822...89%/ SS3823...87%/ SS8596...86%/ SS3824...85%/ SS4562...83% or SS8747...82% for the 5 line Gold Mountain.


Haywire is not possible on your game.

In my opinion the stripes should be Reel Tape, IGT, Gold Mountain (Non Backlit) (858-884-00)

I think the strips match the glass but the SS chip is wrong.  All 3 strips are different and appear to match my gold mnt 3 line strips which I believe are the same as 5 line strips. The game is a double diamond clone.

That's good.  You need to get a correct SS chip and I would replace that SP too.  Does your 3rd strip only have 10 symbols instead of 11 like strip 1 and 2?

Any recommendations which Reel Prom I should use ? Are there any special  features available for the Gold Mountain Theme ?

Here are your choices. I have most of them if needed. Type 0, no special features. It's a Double Diamond clone.

There are no special features for gold mountain.  It is just a multiplier type standard game.  If you want special features, you would have to change out the strips and the glass to another theme, like a Haywire, 4th of July, Double Diamond Deluxe, etc.  But it involves replacing the strips, the glass (although this is purely cosmetic as it does not affect gameplay), and the ss prom and in some cases the game prom.
