S+ Coin Hopper Question
« on: August 28, 2021, 07:54:15 AM »
Howdy!  My Dad has an S+ Double Diamond Deluxe and he is complaining to me that the coin hopper will not empty.  Is there some kind of a limit setting on this machine that doesn't let the coin hopper completely empty?  In other words is it supposed to do what it is doing or is there a problem that is not letting it empty out completely?

Thank you,

John

That is normal. They will not empty out completely.

Thank you for the reply.  Is there a specific amount that remains?  What is the reasoning behind it?

Thanks,

John

You could need a new hopper star? I have see coins just spin in the bottom of a hopper like a coin jam. The coin wheels numbs could be worn down or have rounded edges not allow the coins to be picked up.
Please remember to make a donation to NLG for mine/our help in repairing your machines problem.. Your donations help keep this site on line.
And remember...
If it's jammed, force it.. If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyways...

he is complaining to me that the coin hopper will not empty.

How many coins are being left behind in the bowl?

Dad says about 100 coins but it varies each time.  So it is not always the same number.

Thanks

John
