IGT PE PLUS POKER Hopper coin optic (no power???)

 Hi,  The poker works fine, it takes coin, the game palys welll... When I cash out, the hopper works but does register the coins out. BUT, the same hopper works perfectly in an S plus.


Any idea????

Did you mean to say that the hopper does NOT register the coins out?  Is that the case when you run the hopper test in the self-test menu as well?

On the self-test inputs screen (the first screen after you press the self test button), you should see the following:



You're interested in the status of "COIN OUT" (4th from the top left).  1 indicates that the optic is working and is not blocked (which would be the normal idle state).  0 indicates that the optic is blocked.  The optic state should change from 1 to 0 (and then back to 1) when a coin passes through the optics.  You can use a popsicle stick or a piece of cardboard to block the optics to ensure it changes correctly.

If it's not changing, AND the hopper works normally on a S+ machine, I'd suggest checking the hopper plug wiring in your PE+ machine for any broken or disconnected wires between the plug and the motherboard.
