You probably have the wrong strips, or not in the right order.  Can you bet all 9 lines? (takes 9 coins)

Hi Rick, yes played 9 coins.  I believe I got this 9 line kit from you a long time ago. Never played it enough to realize something is not right. I'm confused...Tom

I'll check it out now.  I owe you some information.   It has SP1309 and SS7106 EPROMS.  16 MEG Board.   From left to right reel strips are as follows.   
84896000 F3790,  84896100 F4041,   84896200  F4042,  If that helps you to help me. Gonna run down and look at those strips again. Thanks Rick. Tom

That should be correct.  Check the notches on strips, maybe one moved.

They are all in the correct (Located) notch positions.  Play 9 coins, Middle row 1st reel shows a bar, Top row second reel shows a bar, Third reel shows a bar on the middle row. Should pay ten, shouldn't it?

The Color lines on the reel glass connect in the order as I explained , I assumed that was a "hit"  I guess I'm wrong....Thanks very much Rick, Tom

Yes that should be a hit.  I don't understand why it didn't pay unless that game won't play correctly on a 16mhz board, I have no idea.

Try it with a SP1271 if you have one.  That's what I use with mine.

Not from me.  I've never sold a single slot glass kit.  So somebody else sold it to you. Also if you are using a 16Mhz board and the reel eeprom is slower than 120ns (i.e. 27c64->12) then you are going to have misc issues.

I put in a 10 Meg Board. With a SP1309 Game Chip, and an SS7106 Reel chip. Lights Flicker on the Credits and Coin In windows now. Still doesn't pay on all the 9 Lines.
No sound.   Nothing wrong with the Game Kit, I'm doing something wrong.....What else can I try ? Thanks.....Tom

Wrong combo....SP1309 is designed only for the 16MhZ MPU boards...that's why the LEDs are flickering.
Use something like a an SP1271 for your 10MhZ board.

Yep that is a problem: NOTE:  This PROM (SP1309) must have a 120 ns or faster access time and must be installed on a 16 MHz processor board.
