Good Morning,
I ran across your website while searching for information. I did bookmark it. You have some cool machines. Maybe someday I’ll have a collection like that. I’m on some of the Bulletin boards but have yet to get any answers for this question. Would be approachable to impart some of your knowledge to me.
I have my first slot machine this year as my winter project. It’s a Sege Diamond 3 Star. I was told that it was brought back from England off a US Military base in the 50’s
Supposedly works with quarters, but at this point I’m not sure. The actual machine is rather clean. The reels are a little sticky but it all seems, again not sure at this point.
I have started with the cabinet, which is in need of new paint and chrome. I took lots of pictures as I took it apart and cleaned it. The one problem that I have so far is that I have the arm off to re-chromed but I don’t seem to be able to get the “Bushing†and exterior trim ring off. I have seen these parts for sale and it looks as though there are 3 or 4 screws from the inside into the exterior trim ring. I have taken off all the levers and interior parts except for the one in the picture. All the screws have been removed but it doesn’t want to come off. I don’t want to pry it because I’m not sure if that is right. Is there a special way or “trick†to getting this off so I can access the screws?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
