Konami K2V Clear Error - Assertion Failed No Group

Hi all,
I have a Konami K2V 3-reel stepper (Dragon Hurricane) that is in working order, except for a new problem that has come up.

When trying to use the CF card, I get the following message on a light blue screen:
Assertion Failed:
!"No Group"
File: CWavDataList.cpp
Line 373

I have used this CF previously and worked flawlessly. On the off chance it was a bad card, I purchased a new one, and the result is the same.

Normal play works fine, it's only a problem when trying to fun the clear functions.

Sacrificing my pride here - for some unknown reason, I totally spaced out that there is a second slot for the clear CF. I was removing the game CF and replacing with the clear CF... DOH. Once I remembered that there was a second slot for the clear, all was well again. Explaining here so that the poor next guy doesn't make the same mistake. This time I've taken the time to document the process as well as taking pictures of all of my precious setting and any other tips to future self.
