Payout Mismatch - White Ice.
« on: June 06, 2015, 11:14:50 AM »
My White Ice has never paid out correctly.
I assumed it was a faulty SB chip and I have replaced it, ran a clear and still have a mismatch on payouts.

2 attachments
1 is an example payout.  3 mixed bars paid 150 - the same payout as 3 triple bars
2 is a picture of the mainboard and chips installed.

Actions so far:
1. Reel Test.  Checks out perfectly.
2. Reel Payout test.  Reels are in the proper stops, but payout values are wrong.
3. Reel assembly. Verified all reel strips are correctly in the stops
4. Verified correct SB Chip
5. Run a full clear on the machine

To do:
1. List out the reel strips #'s so they can be checked against know good White Ice strips.
2. Check the reel location for the photographed win and see if the reel strips can even be put in an order that is representative.

Info:
This machine was a beater and was likely assembled from bit and pieces.  The casino had it carded as a triple stars.  The SB chip original was the 136.  Replacing it with a new one yields the same payouts at the same reel positions - so I'm inclined to believe the reel strips are faulty.

Does anyone have a list or picture of the White Ice strips so that I can check order and validate the strips?

Thanks in advance!
Aaron

Sounds like incorrect reel strips or maybe they are just not in the right order. Check the reel strip numbers and let us know what they are. Then make sure they are installed numerically from left to right.

Payout on the previous picture was reel positions 18 - 2 - 18.

A payout of 150 credits is not possibly correct in those positions with the strips I have.

Attached is a pic of my strips.

White Ice was made in different configurations, and the different configurations used different reel strips. Lets get someone to confirm what strips are correct for your game.

I will hold off shipping your order until we hear, ok? I think member RB has the answer we need!

All 3 strips should be the same for single payline White Ice 2 or 3 cm SB100135, 100136. Top to bottom symbols: 3 bar, 2x, cherry, 2 bar, 7, 1 bar, 4x, 2 bar, 3 bar, 7, 1 bar.

Hope this helps.

It does help. Those aren't the ones I have, so I'm guessing mine are multi line or something? I have 2 sets of the dang things, and not one of the single line version!

The strip numbers are all the same for white ice single line. Like rb said they should all be 84663700 for back light strips
Hope this helps
