Sigma treasure wheel

To all you experts out there  I’m still trying to get this machine going it’s a sigma sg-150b plus Treasure wheel when a boot it up after the game loads, the LCD screen reads lamp comm error What can causes? Thanks

Here is the error code sheet from the manual. If there a separate Display PCB this error code indicates a problem there.

I believe there is a controller PCB (Printed Circuit Board) that the LED Displays plug in to. There might be a problem with the connection to that board or one of the ribbon cables that connects to that board. I assume you have pressed the Reset button next to the power switch.

Yes, I pressed that button as one of attempts trying to fix it. I’ll check the ribbons now right before it goes to the lamp comm error I noticed it said battery low will that cause it

I am not an expert, I'm just sharing what I am learning as I try to get my own machines working. From what I understand, if a battery goes low in a Sigma machine, all kinds of errors can happen. Check the voltage on the backup battery first, if it is low you can't fix anything else until that is replaced.
