Should i just scrap it

ive just recieved my 044 mpu and flash card with software
I have put it in machine and display shows 2 green and 5 amber leds
 I have now evaluated the touchscreen is faulty as constant green led on screen but just
Backlight no display ill get that to menders😁
I have an amber light on coin mech
Amber lights on ao boards and main fan runs
The small light and small mpu fan dont work
The door switches when depressed dont change anything
I have a clear chip but with no screen unsure if everything needs to be set
Up before everything works
Or is possibly a board or power supply issue
I really want to revive this machine but have no knowledge or bottomless
Bank account if going to be costly


Any help apriciated and sorry for my lots of posts

I read this, but I'm still not sure what your problems are.  The MPU board sounds like it's working.  How do you know the touchscreen is bad if the monitor doesn't work?  I think you need to have a working monitor before you can go any further.

I was just a bit worried i would spend money on fixing monitor then find the other things still dont work
It was clarity that door switches button lights sounds ect wont work till i have reset the mpu with keychip once monitor is sorted


I will get the monitor off to be fixed asap

Well that's always a possibility I guess.  Sometimes a project turns into a  :money: pit and you have to determine if you want to spend anymore or just cut your losses.

Without a working monitor you're literally in the dark as far as any error messages go.

Rigged up an old monitor to the machine today
Unfortunately it isnt touchscreen
On turn on it said checking flashcard then after a minute
Said gk sha flash failure check flash card
On fitting key chip it goes to menu but until new touchscreen monitor
Fitted i can go no further
Step in the right direction im getting signal👍
Would the initial flash failure be due to not been set up
To my machine?
Reason being i want to leave feedback to seller but dont want a faulty flash board

Obviously you have two problems> sounds like a bad flash board to me?  When my GK had that error message, the key chip would work but not with the game ROM installed.
