Blade 3.2 boot up
« on: December 26, 2023, 09:35:13 AM »
New to Blade system. Machine worked fine for a week. Then it took 3 or 4 reboots to get it to boot and now no boot up. I reseated cf cards and it booted once to this pic. It has not booted to this again. No bios evers startsup now. All led's for power good(also swapped ps). Reseated everything inside cpu. Will bad bios chip cause no boot or should it at least get this screen again? Any help would be appreciated. I have no other blade parts I can swap out with. Thanks

If the bios is bad it won't boot.  Check to make sure it inserted all the way.
If it ain't broke don't mess with it.....

Looks like the BIOS died on you from the first screen and then nothing.  Time for a replacement

Well, not sure why that SMU tape is there but under it should be a Blue and Yellow chip with a handle.  You want the Blue one like this in the pic.  If you can not find one I have a spare.
