IGT S+ shuts down

I have a customer with an S+  when the game is sitting - after a few minutes he gets a loud CLICK like the handle coil and the machine drops the game - flor. lights stay on - most of the lights go out (insert coin - accepted - spin play max - all go out- the light behind the 25c decal is ON!) Reseated all the connections to the mother board - the power harness to the mother board is good - Replaced the CPU - still same issue.

I assume that it is not blowing any fuses
The power supply may be failing when it heats up.
Are the reels locked or move freely during this? Could it be the motherboard connection to the power supply?

will have him check the reels for power - the power supply connection is good as are the fuses.  With the loud CLICK suspect maybe the handle release coil?
