How to remove cpu from backpane bb2 ?
« on: February 19, 2019, 06:33:25 PM »
can anyone tell me the procedure on how to remove the cpu from the backpane  on a bb2?
Thanks
I have removed the two top nuts and the one inside the cpu in bottom right corner
And tried pushing that metal lever down but it doesn’t budge .
Not sure what I’m missing
Appreciate any help or where to look on site

Thanks all
Yes there is a small metal tab that is holding the handle down?
So do I pull lever toward me to get it out of that position than slide it up towards cpu?
Obviously I have door off cpu

Pull up on the lever when unhooked and wiggle the CPU up..  I take the door off when I pop them out, gets it out of the way.

Got it thanks again for all the help
Just to be sure it’s only the 3 nuts that either need to be loosened or removed in order to release cpu from backpane ? And then unlock and push handle up and wiggle cpu to release it
Just want to make sure I’m not missing anything
