"LOW BATTERY"

I have only had this battery in for 2 months or so and now showing low bat (It is in a Triple Strike 3 reel machine).  Not sure why it is showing low but when tested it was at 3.01.  I also have a Question abut needing the Green bat.  I believe i was once told how to tell if i needed it and do not remember.  Thanks for any help. Dave.

If you have the older 501, 502, or 504 board, you do not need that green Varda Battery.  However, enhanced 1270 boards do need this battery.  Replace if you have a 1270 board.

If you have the 500 series, check your solder joint. Sometimes old corroded solder keeps it from a good connection thus the low when it's not.

Solder in a battery holder and make it easy. Like $1.68 from Radio shack.

Apparently, from what ive seen/read, the privately owned Radio Shacks will remain open. I know the one in my town is still open...
