Reel controller fan

Does anyone know if the fan on the reel controller can be purchased at an electronic store or is the moles different. Also what size do I need?

It should be a standard type fan, just look up the voltage and amp draw and match it.  You will probably have to put a molex plug on it, but that's not a big deal.  Does your reel controller not have a fan installed?

Yeah any fan with the correct specs and size should work.  Just remove the old one and start searching online for a replacement.  Don't worry too much about the plug.  Most fans are 2 wires unless it has a sense and then it's 3.  You can just cut the old harness and tie the wires to the new fan.  If you do have 3 wires on that harness, the sense is required.  Make sure you get one with the 3rd wire if so.
