bally alpha machine dont start

hello every one

first sorry for my English i m french ...


i have one of my bally alpha how have a problem

it's don't start
i heard a noise and i found the part who make this sound

i attached the picture

it's the small piece on the power board
do i need to change the all board ? or only the part ??

which small piece?  It would be usefull if you circled it.  If you are talking about the round one with the hole in the middle, that is a speaker for bios beeps and diagnostics, if this goes bad, it would not deter the system from booting.  What does the machine do?  Do you see any bios messages on the monitor?

yes it's this small round piece with a hole on the top
it never stop buzzing

nothing appear on the monitor it's write no signal

the machine light up but not the monitor . it's like it's not plugged

there is some new !
this morning a change all the 3 battery
the noise stop when i start the machine but no signal still write on the screen ... :duh:

That MPU looks to be for a class 2 machine.
Are you using it in a class 2 machine?

I think yes it s a type 2 . It in the machine since i have it more then One year
It work until One day i start the machine And nothing append

Game is Class3 you don't say whether or not you can confirmed that the MPU Power Supply is good or not

the power supply is OK the led light up every fan turn ... but it s like a wire is unplugged
i compare with an other machine and every think is OK

Test the lcd to make sure it's not that.  Just hook up a laptop to it.  Then the next I would try would be the MPU power supply.

i already test it and it work
i put an other drawer in the machine and everything work perfectly
the error it's in the drawer with the mpu
the board lighting up  so i don't understand

i have seen a new stuff it couldhelp some one to find a solution at my problem
the led on top of drive active light on and never stop .
do someone have an idea ???

The round piece is the piezo buzzer that beeps the different error codes on start up. normally you hear 1 beep on start up telling you that you have Video. I'm gona guess you're hearing a steady beep on start up. this is a bad Chip (CPU).
If it ain't broke.....Stop trying to fix it.

OK i change the bios cheap on the CPU and now it work
i have a new problem my bill validator don't start
i think it's just a configuration problem but i do the same config as always and it don't start
