PE+ Multi poker chip sets

Hello All,

I would like to purchase some sets of multi game poker eproms for my PE+ w/ super board that include triple double poker among others. I am also interested in a wing board and the chips that combine with it. Not very knowledgeable on wing boards. Please let me know what you have for sale including pricing.

That Triple Double poker game uses a CAPX1321 u43 chip. If you don't already have one I think they can be hard to find. And the blank CAPX proms for programming are hard to find. Seems like someone came up with an adapter board that lets you use a different memory chip in place of the old CAPX chip.

We have the 1321CAPX but the 1274 looks better. That piggy back board can be tossed, just remove the RAM from it and plug it into the main board then change one EPROM jumper to use the 6 game chip setto get a multi game running.

None of the Multi-Poker game sets include Triple Double as an option, and from the available information we have about the wingboard, it wouldn't support it, either.  Sorry.

Does this mean that to have the Triple Double poker game a person would need to install the single-game TD eproms onto the mpu board and that's the only game in the machine at that time? To play another game you'd either swap out the eproms, or have a second mpu board with a different set of eproms and you'd swap the mpu's? Since those mpu's are in a metal tray they can be removed and replaced fairly easily I think. And you can probably find a single-game mpu for not too much cost.

Were there ever any mods/hacks done to the multi-game poker eproms that removed one of the included 5 games and replaced it with a different game?

That is correct - I have several boards that I swap out as needed.
The key with the Wing board is finding 5 games that all share the same MGO MXO MRO MBO set and Capx rom.
There are sets that work together well and there are a few that you can get to work but the colors are a bit off due to the wrong Capx Rom

Naw, don't worry about that, he just gets busy sometimes. He'll get back to you as soon as he checks in here. If for some reason he can't get the PE+ software chips you want there are others that can likely do it. Most of the PE+ poker software is on several MAME websites for free download, those MAME guys have lots of game files that they use in their hobby, and the PE+ software sets are part of what they do.
