IGT S + will not boot

I have an IGT S+ Money Storm that will not boot. It did work fine before. When i turn the machine on the fluorescent lights come on. I hear the reels lock on. I can not just free turn them. That is all that happens. No display lights or anything else. I have checked the fuses. All 3 are good. I checked the 6 pin power connector and it looks good and no burn marks. Anything anyone can think of I should check next? Thanks

Did you check the fuses with a meter? Sometimes fuses can look good but will not ring out with a meter.

The displays do not work or come on at all. I did check the fuses with a meter. They are good. Thanks

Even that you said you checked the 6 pin power plug try wiggling it to see if their is Reel movement
It could be bad and not show burn marks

Your symptoms are classic for that connector. Check both sides of it. Usually the heat build up deteriorates the plastic & connection becomes loose. It's always the pin pictured.

With the door open push the test button to see if they light. It could be optics

I have looked at both sides of the connector there is no burn marks at all. I have unplugged and plugged the power connector a bunch of times and moved it around with no change. RB What is the voltage at that wire?  Therockinelvis are you talking about the displays coming on when I hit the test button. Is that the test button on the CPU? Thanks

If you have an older S+ it will be on the front on the MPU. If newer it is beside the power switch or behind it (feel with your finger).  You wrote that your reels are tight. Kind of rules out the power cable. It is always the green ground that fails. Have you checked the wiring and plug on the display?

Have you moved the machine recently?
Loose coins under the motherboard have
had slot machines doing weird things.
Remove the cpu and motherboard to verify that
there's not a coin shorting out the motherboard.
