Blazing 7's Clear chips i fried one ordered another and chip is bad.

Making sure i dont have any other issues. Ordered a set of ram clears put in u43 the wrong way and fried it. When read with reader im just seeing all ff so its toast. Ordered another set from flea bay. The u28 chip read all ff so it was bad from the get go. But u43 read fine. So i tried the U28 from first set and the U43 from second set still wont do anything. I ordered some chips and will order another set. The first set did work once but i didnt do a full then put them in backwards. I will be backing up my files once i get a good set and can write my own. Takes 2-3 weeks to get sets in. Will order from the first guy cause at least that did something. Eroro on Blazing 7's currently in picture. 88 in the win paid and e3c3 in the credit. Will ram clear fix this? Also have a new used board in it last board toasted from battery acid.

Here's all the error codes for your machine. As you can see a 88 error code indicates a failure of the mpu. If a proper safe ram clear doesn't fix it then most likely the mpu has been damaged possibly from having the chips orientation wrong.

And I would recommend leave in safe ram mains for future reference. That way to do a safe ram clear all you have to do is flip a switch instead of changing and possibly damaging chips.

Were up. The guy sent me the u28 bin file. The chip that was still good on the first set u28 i uv lighted it to clear it and wrote the bin file to it. So with the good u48 and the new u28 got it to clear. Up and running now. That took some work and im so glad he sent the u28 file instead of waiting. I did try the first u28 and the second u48 didnt work. Im assuming the were dated different. Either way got it to work with a little work.
