Clearing my s +

Hi every one I used the clear chip and the game counted up and it cleared. But now when I power it on The reels spin very slowly and the insert coin sign is flashing. And the coins played sign is flashing a 0. Can someone tell me what I need to do. Thank all of you for Taking the time to help me out. I also used the reel chip to set up the bill validator.

Make sure you don't have any bent pins on your game chip or that you did not put in in backwards.
 
Also is this a 10mhz or 16mhz MPU (does it have the blue volume pot on the top). And what SP chip are you using?

if all 3 reels are spinning real slow try turning the reset key with the door open.

I believe this is now resolved. OPer told me he had both 10Mhz and 16Mhz MPUs and had a SP1019(16Mhz) game chip in the 10Mhz MPU.

That'll do it.  You must use 10Mhz SP chips in 10Mhz boards, and 16Mhz SP chips in 16Mhz boards.  Marking this as solved.  If it's not, the OP can reply to this thread and we'll un-mark it solved.
