s plus coin in optics

anyone ever repair one of these , i had a 21 code replaced optics all good cleaned the old optics board retested  and still 21 is there any fix to these  it is on a s plus  25 cent coin in. or do i toss it and move on with life

You haven't given us much to go on..... 21 is a pretty coin in error ...

Did it just stop working or did you recently buy the machine ? ie has it ever worked ?

Did you press the white test button a few times and close the door ?

Is there a sample coin in the comparator ?

Do you have pics of the part ? and the wiring harness ?

yes did everything it was stuck in a 21 code, it turned out to be a bad coin optics board , i was just wanting to know if there is anyone that has repaired these boards before , , machine was working  went to customers house and traced it down to a bad optics board

I can repair them. May not be cost effective.  Hate to see it go to a landfill/scrap. PM me if you like.

You can fix almost any electronic device by replacing the aluminum electrolytic capacitors.
